Have you ever questioned yourself or worried if you were a person that is about to accomplish something really big? Are you having doubts about your abilities on a regular basis? Are you comparing yourself a lot to people you admire? Thoughts like that are a sure sign that you are playing small!
Thoughts like that have the tendency to diminish your own inner power. The way you think about yourself is reflected in your everyday life. All depends on your attitude. Each one of us has these feelings about being worthless from time to time, and some of us have them their whole lives and they aren´t even aware of them.
Self-worth is a big topic in personal development issues. Someone with poor self-worth does not allow himself to see that he can achieve anything worthwhile. He will always find a reason to not follow the path of success just because he has to prove to himself that he is worthless.
This might sound kind of harsh but it is the truth and as long as this belief sits fast glued to his personality, a person will have difficulties to change her life.
When you decide to start to work from home and create your own business you better be aware of your attitude. It is critical to
watch what is going on in one´s mind and how you are dealing with challenges within your work from home business.
Are you setting goals, are you giving your full effort to them? How do you react in times of little or no success? Are you trying to better yourself every day in order to improve your abilities and chances for success without paying much attention to activities that didn´t work out so well? How badly do you want this success? Are you ready to do what it takes to obtain it?
A work from home business that is going to be successful requires some important character traits that you either already have or can obtain. It all starts with yourself. So you might want to take a deep and long lasting look at your "self", and maybe you notice a few glimpses of what I have been talking here.
People with poor self-worth fail to see the incredible positive impact they could have on the world around them. They doubt their abilities, dismiss their talents and neglect opportunities to grow. In this way, they not only deprive themselves of valuable experiences, they deprive the world of the joy and abundance they could share.
Everybody in this universe is unique. Nobody is thought to be a copy of somebody else. Everybody deserves success and happiness in his life. The sooner you find out about your original self the faster you can get rid off the false attitudes that keep you on a low level of energy.
Do you resonate with some of these thoughts? Most of us do and it is nothing to be ashamed of. We are the only living beings on this planet who have such an incredible ability to learn and grow. Why do other "average" people succeed to work from home and make a decent income? Maybe they started out like you but then realized their utter potential and they got to work and started learning everything they needed to be successful in their work from home business.
If you think you are not good at something or don´t have the talent, sit down and learn it and prove to yourself that you can do anything you want.Just because you believe you don’t have any great talents right now, doesn’t mean you couldn’t develop some later.
Make a commitment right now to search and discover your natural abilities and share them with others. Let your dreams come true, don´t postpone any longer. Give yourself a chance and let your uniqueness shine. The world will thank you in a thousand ways.
I wish you all the success in the world for your work from home business.

The Art Of Thinking
What do I mean by the art of thinking? It may seem that powerful thinking should simply be logical, and nothing more. The ideal thinker then, might be Spock, the "Vulcan" in the "Star Trek" television show and movies. Of course, if you watch the program, you may recall that the humans aboard the spaceship had most of the solutions and new ideas. Spock only knew how to analyze.
The most useful processes of thought need to do more than run a "logic program." After all, we need to choose what to think about, and we also sometimes need new ways to think about things. These tasks are not a matter of applying logic, but of choosing values and pursuing them creatively.
This is where the art of thinking comes into play. A definition of art: "Disciplines, or those parts of disciplines, which do not rely solely on the scientific method." This includes such arts as economic forecasting and psychological therapy, which might someday rely solely on the scientific method. However, at the moment neither these nor thinking can be described, taught, or practiced solely as a scientific method.
To understand this it might help to use another art as a metaphor. Painting, for example, can shed some light on thinking. The goal is to express something on canvas. You start with the paints, brushes, palettes and other tools. But all the best tools aren't enough.
You need to learn how to paint. You learn to draw, and perhaps learn the geometry of creating perspective in a scene. You learn how to mix the colors and how to show light reflecting. This is the science of painting.
The tools and science still aren't enough, though. You need to practice, so you paint again and again to learn how to best get various effects. Then, with the tools, the knowledge, and the practice, you are ready to create something new of your own. Perhaps. Of course there is nothing in your painting books that says, "This is what you want to say with your painting." Here, the "art" enters. First, you choose according to your values what you will paint.
Then you find a way to express yourself creatively. You rely on your intuition to show something new, some unique perspective that means something to you (and hopefully others).
How do you know how well you did? First, the painting either makes sense to you or it doesn't. Second, it makes sense to others, or not. Of course, some won't appreciate a good painting, but if nobody sees the value in your painting, it isn't likely that they are all aesthetically "blind." Feedback matters, because painting is not just about expressing yourself, but also about communicating your vision to others.
Painting With Thoughts
Want to improve your art of thinking? Start with better tools. Just as a better paintbrush can help produce a better painting, better reasoning skills, or more observation, or more experience can lead to more useful, valuable, and even beautiful thoughts. Your intuition, which guides you in the use of these other tools, should be developed. But good tools are not enough.
You need knowledge. Knowing more things gives you more options in combining those things into new ideas. Practice gives you more skill in doing this as well. Expand the base of your knowledge then, and practice thinking of new ideas. But tools, knowledge and practice are still not enough.
Like a painter, you need to start with your values to decide where to apply your thinking. What is worth thinking about? Then you need to look at your thoughts and ask if they make sense. You also need to throw them out there into the public sphere - at least among friends - to see if they make sense to others. Do at least some people understand the picture you are painting with your words?
By the way, talking to others is a form of thinking (at least it can be). Just as the communication between the various parts of your brain creates new ideas, so does the interplay of two minds in a conversation. Good conversation can be an important part of the art of thinking.
What else? Like a painter, you should experiment. You should mix those "paints" up differently from time to time, just to see what you get. You should try a new type of canvas (think on paper, in poetry, in stories?), or a new subject matter.
You should watch the process of your own thoughts, learn from it, and adapt accordingly. Much of what you learn will be at a level below consciousness. To use this, even as you guide your thoughts consciously, you have to allow for the intuitive as well. It is in this interplay between the conscious and unconscious that the art of thinking really blossoms.

Why Not Think Big?
Copyright (c) 2007 Patric Chan
Have you heard someone saying this...
"If it's so darn easy like what the books and seminars taught, how come I'm not a millionaire?"
I don't have the answer.
But I do know how I became wealthy.
I was struggling at first until I realized the potential of what I'm about to share with you...
Belief in yourself.
Believe it or not, the limitations we experience in life are often the result of our own mental limitations.
Consider for a moment the hoopla surrounding Roger Bannister when he broke the four-minute mile. Previous to him setting this record, most people considered it impossible to run a mile in less than four minutes.
In fact, I dare to bet that there were people in Bannister's time who were physically capable of running a four minute mile, but were held back by their mental limitation that said it was impossible to do so simply because no one have done yet.
Once Bannister did it, however, many people followed. And thus, the record has been broken since by almost 17 seconds.
All it took was for people to change their mindset and believe they could do it. Once they believed it, they did it (provided of course they had the physical skills to match).
The same is true if you want to be a millionaire today, my friend.
Do you believe you can make one hundred dollars for a start?
Do you believe you can make one thousand dollars then?
Do you believe you can make six figures?
How about seven figures?
Chances are, you already hold some sort of limitation in your mind-- an amount that you believe you can make.
I know because I always have.
We can be motivated thinkers but the problem is, we're somehow programmed not to think big in our society of living.
But you don't have to bow down to your mind's limits. Instead, be open and be free. Choose to make more. Believe that you can. Make it so. All you need to do is free your mind.
I mean, who's going to sue you if you think big? No one.
So it's to your own advantage to think big than small, isn't it? You have nothing to lose.
A few years ago I experienced first-hand the limitations I allowed my mind to put on my activities. Let me explain...
Previously, I organized and marketed self-help workshops as a business.
The crowd was never more than 30 people per intake.
I don't know why but I could not figure out why I can't get 100 in my room.
Then one day, I realized what was going on.
I was 'blocking' myself to the possibility of having more participants because I've been programmed that if I can get 50 for such type of workshop, I'm already doing a great job.
So my brain wasn't trained to get more.
But one day, the speaker told me that I could get more. That's all it takes. One voice changed my view and thinking pattern. The rest is history now.
It's very interesting how our brain is receptive towards advice from an authority figure.
This leads me to another lesson learned from my life's experience--
If you want to soar with the eagles, don't hang around with ducks or chickens.
Let's suppose you are making $100 a month from a business of yours, but you want to get to the $10,000 a month level.
The truth is if you can make $100, then you can make $10,000... after all, it's just a method of repeating what works, duplicating your previous success to build more momentum and so on.
But of course many people don't shoot from $100 to $10,000 overnight. Their mind needs to adjust to the idea. Just free their mind... they would achieve their financial goals-faster.
Hence the big question: how can you ever get to a higher level if your mind isn't ready?
The answer is to start taking smaller steps.
You see, many people do it the other way. When they decide they want something, they take big steps to get what they want. For example, if they want to make $10,000 a month, they roll out big plans for big businesses.
But if their mind isn't ready for this type of success, they won't get there. Possibly, self-sabotage occurs by doing something wrong such as getting bad business partners or making lousy decisions.
Forget about those big steps. Is your mind ready? Or else, it won't work.
Instead, take small steps to begin building bridges between what you know you can do and what you want to do.
In a nutshell, you likely already know HOW to be wealthy. Now you just need to free your mind to believe that you "Chan" do it. Once you truly and fully accept that you can do it, you WILL do it.
Successful people know that training their mind to accept success is a very important task. Actually, it's probably more important than knowing everything else in the world about becoming wealthy but doesn't believe in himself.
